P.I.: Jonathan Calede, Ph.D.
I obtained my PhD in 2016 from the University of Washington’s Department of Biology. I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Bucknell University during the 2016-2017 year. I moved to The Ohio State University for the fall of 2017 to start teaching on the Marion campus of OSU. I am a faculty member of the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology at The Ohio State University and affiliated faculty in the School of Earth Sciences. I am also a research associate at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History → C.V.
Athena Tse is a MS student in the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology on OSU’s Columbus campus. Athena got her BS from the University of Washington where she worked in the Sidor Lab and the Wilson Lab. She is interested in histology and geometric morphometrics. Athena is working on cranial morphology in shrews.
Erica Scarpitti is an Earth Sciences major on the Columbus campus of the Ohio State University. Erica is working on the morphology of the hearing system of rodents.
Molly Hunt is a student in Earth Sciences on the Columbus campus of the Ohio State University. Molly is working on body size in geomorph rodents (pocket gophers, kangaroo rats and their many relatives).
Anas Tantash is a Biology major on the Marion campus of the Ohio State University. Anas is working on rodent body mass and locomotion.

Paleontology at OSU
The paleontology community at The Ohio State University is active. Dr. John Hunter and Dr.
Jill Leonard-Pingel are located on the Newark campus. The Orton Geological Museum in Columbus holds specimens for research and teaching in addition to some displays open to the public. The Museum of Biological Diversity‘s tetrapod collection is also a great resource.
